This session covers multiple ways to captivate and excite our students creating an environment causing them to say, "I never know what to expect each week!"

• Musical 'App'titude - A 60-90 minute presentation that focuses on the wide range of apps available to teachers. This presentation will provide attendees with a list of over 200 apps that can be used to enhance their teaching of musical concepts. 

• Building Your Studio - A 60-90 minute presentation designed for college students who are in local piano pedagogy programs and looking to open their first studio. 

• The Perfect Wrong Note - A 60-90 minute presentation that utilizes the book "The Perfect Wrong Note" by William Westney and combines it with the tenets of developing a growth mindset in our students.

• Building a Brain Based Studio - A 60-90 minute presentations that discusses the various methods that can be used in a private teaching situation to reach learners of all types.

Melissa Johansen can offer the Parenting the Love and Logic Way®️ or the Love and Logic Early Childhood Parenting Made Fun!®️ training courses to local parenting, teaching and church groups. The Parenting the Love and Logic Way®️ and the Love and Logic Early Childhood Parenting Made Fun!®️ curriculum was developed by Jim Fay, Charles Fay, Ph.D. and Foster W. Cline, MD, of the Love and Logic Institute, Inc., in Golden, Colorado. Melissa is a trained independent facilitator of both the the Parenting the Love and Logic Way®️ and the Love and Logic Early Childhood Parenting Made Fun!®️ curriculum.
